On behalf of Bishop Dr. James Washington and the entire New Shiloh Baptist Church family, we extend our heartfelt love, prayers, and deepest condolences to Pastor Jerod Howard, the entire Howard and Smith families, the New Hope Baptist Church family, and the Morning Star Holiness Church (The DOME) family during the transition of Min. Kathryn E. Howard.

We are praying that God will surround every family member, friend, church member, and all who knew and loved Min. Howard with His comfort, strength, peace, and sustaining grace in the days ahead.

As the first week of school comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to look back and share a few highlights from our wonderful Back to School Sunday at New Shiloh!

It was a beautiful day filled with powerful prayer, encouraging words and Scripture, school supplies, goodies, snacks, fellowship, and a special reception celebrating Dr. NYC and her new journey as Vice Principal! 💕🎉

We prayed over our students, educators, administrators, families, and the school year ahead, believing God for a year of growth, protection, favor, and success! 🙏🏽

As always, THANK YOU to everyone who helps make every moment at New Shiloh such a memorable one! We are family, and we are grateful for every opportunity to celebrate, encourage, and pour into one another. 💜
