You can either suffer with Christ or suffer without Him, but you will suffer…

There is no avoiding suffering in this life, but it can be redeemed if given to God.

Jesus is deeply acquainted with our suffering. He knows the burden and pain it brings. There is nothing that cannot be used for our good and His glory if we only give Him our burdens and cast our cares upon Him, for He deeply cares for us. His yoke is easy and His burden is light. There is rest and peace in Jesus, not because He removes our suffering, but rather because He overcomes it.

For all who find themselves in a season of deep suffering, we long to walk with you in that.

Finish the course…

Looking back on Sunday, we’re reminded that God is the one who helps us finish well. Not by our own strength, but by His.

May the Holy Spirit bind us in love and unity around the anchor of the cross as we press on into deeper obedience to Jesus.

God, we look to You.
