Designed especailly to help our little liturgists engage in worship - we invite you to pick them up in the lobby or at the Prayground. A collection bin will be available on the way out of worship. Our Father’s Housewares Scheduler Needed!!! Our Father’s Housewares furniture ministry is looking for a dedicated volunteer to step into a vital role as a scheduler! In this role, you will be the friendly voice of the ministry, answering our dedicated cell phone at your convenience on Thursdays from approximately 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM to coordinate furniture pickups and deliveries. If you have a heart for service, good organizational skills, and want to help families in our community get the household items they need, we would love to have you on board. If you have any questions or are interested in helping out, please reach out to Leslee Burch or the church office. Thank you for your continued support of this ministry!

5. Men's Retreat Registration is Live! Registration is officially open for our first-ever Men’s Retreat at Camp Montgomery this fall! Join us for an incredible weekend of faith, fellowship, and relaxation from Saturday, October 24 – Sunday, October 25 (with optional Friday night arrival to help set up).
• Cost: $120 per person
• What to Expect: Worship, small group discussions, a hands-on service project, and plenty of free time.
• Want to Help? We are still looking for team members to help with worship, meals, clean-up, and leading activities or small groups.

Midweek Fellowship and Small Group Opportunities (Most starting up after Labor Day!) Looking to connect, grow, and dive deeper into your faith outside of Sunday mornings? We have five different small groups meeting throughout the week, each focusing on a unique study, and there is a place for everyone:
a. Men’s Bible Study: Wednesdays at 8:00 AM in the Youth Hall, taught by Robert McCrary.
b. Men’s Evening Group: Wednesdays at 7:00 PM in the Youth Hall, taught by Robert McCrary.
c. Women’s Thursday Morning Bible Study: Thursdays at 10:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall, taught by Melissa Daniel.
d. YoMoms Women’s Study: Sundays at 10:00 AM in Room 13, taught by Melissa Daniel.
e. Mixed Adult Group: Tuesdays at 9:30 AM in the office conference room, taught by Rusty Benton.

Kick Off Our New Fall Sermon Series: Distinctive Church! We are just under two weeks away from launching our fall sermon series, Distinctive Church, on September 13, 2026! Building on who we are and who we are becoming as Community Presbyterian Church, this series takes a deep dive into the foundational "marks of the church." Over the coming weeks, we will explore our unique identity, our shared history, and the exciting path God has laid out for our future. What makes this series so special is that we will be hearing from many different voices from right here within our own church family as we unpack these truths together. If you haven’t already, mark your calendar for September 13 and invite someone to join you as we lean into our shared story and values!

Labor Day Weekend – One Worship Service This Sunday (9/6). Join us this coming Sunday, September 6th, at 10:00 AM for our special combined Labor Day weekend worship service! Please note this will be our only service of the morning, and we will gather together in the Fellowship Hall for a wonderful time of worship side-by-side with our entire church family.
