Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy (GAAA) began with a question from a small group of parents, “What will it take to add the 11th and 12th grades to Berean Junior Academy?” The year was 1980 and the Home and School, began the complex process of becoming a senior academy, through fund raising and applying to the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist for senior academy status. The vacated offic
e building, of the South Atlantic Conference, located on Chickamauga Ave was converted from office space and renovated into classrooms to accommodate the new 11th and 12th grade students. Members of the constituent churches in the Metro Atlanta area along with parents volunteered their time and means towards the transformation of the existing facility. Today, the school occupies a 50,000 square foot facility located a 401 Hamilton E Holmes Drive, NW Atlanta, Georgia. Thanks and praise to the Lord for where He has brought and is leading us.
