What an incredible day!

Our Annual Back-to-School Book Bag Giveaway was a tremendous success! Because of God’s faithfulness and the generosity of our community, we were able to serve over 450 people, including 387 students and 70 teachers.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our amazing partners at Lakewood Heights Community, our dedicated volunteers, church members, donors, and everyone who gave their time, resources, and financial support. Your generosity made a lasting impact on so many families.

Most importantly, we give all glory to God. None of this would have been possible without His provision, His covering, and the hands and hearts of those willing to serve.

Thank you for helping us equip students, encourage teachers, and strengthen our community. We can’t wait to do it again next year!

📚🎒 BACK-TO-SCHOOL GIVEAWAY 🎒📚

Lakewood Church of Hope is excited to partner with Lakewood Heights Community for our 2026 Back-to-School Book Bag Giveaway, for teachers & students!

As we prepare students for a successful school year, we’re also taking time to honor and support the educators who pour into them every day. This year, both students and teachers will receive book bags filled with supplies to help them start the school year strong.

• Date: August 1, 2026
• Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Join us for an afternoon of food, fun, fellowship, and community as we invest in the next generation and celebrate the teachers who help shape their future.

* Important: Children must be present to receive a book bag.
* Teachers must bring ID’s

We look forward to serving our community and helping families prepare for an amazing school year. Together, we can make a difference, one student, one teacher, and one family at a time.

Happy Father’s Day!

Today is a very special day as we celebrate Father’s Day and honor the men who have made a lasting impact through their love, leadership, and sacrifice.

We would like to wish a Happy Father’s Day to all:
• Biological fathers
• Stepfathers
• Godfathers
• Fathers-in-law
• Soon-to-be fathers

And also to the uncles, brothers, mentors, coaches, and father figures who have stepped into positions of leadership, guidance, and support for others.

Thank you for being protectors, providers, encouragers, and examples of strength, integrity, and faith.

Most importantly, today we thank our Heavenly Father, God, whose unfailing love, grace, and guidance serve as the perfect example of what fatherhood can be. We are grateful for His presence, His provision, and His everlasting care for His children.

May God bless every father and father figure today and always. Your impact is greater than you know, and your legacy is being built one life at a time.
