Happy Mother’s Day to every mother, grandmother, aunt, mentor, church mother, and nurturing woman who continues to lead with grace, wisdom, strength, and love. This past Sunday, we honored the women who help shape generations through prayer, sacrifice, compassion, and unwavering faith.

Mothers are creators, protectors, encouragers, intercessors, and pillars within both the home and the church. Their presence shifts rooms, restores hearts, and reminds us of God’s love in action. We thank God for the women who continue to pour into others, stand in the gap, and help build the Kingdom with humility and power.

And what a beautiful way to celebrate this day , rejoicing as 3 young men publicly gave their lives to Christ through baptism. Three more souls won. Three more lives transformed. Heaven rejoices, and so do we!

At Lakewood Church of Hope, we remain grateful for every seed planted, every prayer prayed, and every life touched. Today was a reminder that love, faith, and obedience continue to change lives.

Happy Mother’s Day from our church family to yours.

This month, we celebrated 13 years of obedience, stewardship, and discipling God’s people on this corner of hope. Through every season, we’ve remained rooted in the truth that we could not do this on our own, but with the assurance that I AM that I AM sent us, we’ve continued to walk faithfully in purpose.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all who served with heart, from the event committee to every day-of volunteer, and attendees, your hands, hearts, and presence helped carry the vision.

Celebrating Black History!!!

This past Sunday: Heritage & Praise Sunday

We Celebrated our roots with traditional Black gospel, hymns, and spirituals. Members wore traditional "Black History Colors" black, red, green, yellow and African prints.

The Focus: Passing down praise, testimony, and worship traditions.
