We celebrate strong faith, but we rarely talk about how it gets that way.
Nobody starts with a weathered faith. It is formed through disappointment, prayers that take longer than expected, seasons where God feels silent, and choosing trust again and again when certainty would be easier.
The faith that lasts is not the faith that avoids hardship. It’s the faith that met God there.
Paul and Silas didn’t worship at midnight because they were unusually strong. They worshiped because they had learned over time that God was faithful in the dark, just as He was in the light. That’s what a weathered faith knows.
