Dear Dharma Brothers and Sisters,

It is with great sadness that our New York Dharma Center and Director, Alice Ting, has passed away. She was a fierce Dakini, and protector of the Dharma. She was to many of us a close friend and advisor, and many times a corrector.

She was kind, with an open heart. She was skilled and magical in accomplishing things that were very difficult in regard to her motivation and love for the Dharma. She was preceded in death by her loving sister, Suzan Ting, 3 years ago. Together they did many acts of service to provide what was needed to provide teachings, practice, and fund raisers, at our New York Dharma Center. Her love for her teachers, and the Dharma was profound.

She will be missed by many. May she rest in Dakiniland.

We are inviting everyone to our Tibetan & Chinese New Year Celebration on Sunday January 26th.

We will start off with a Fire Puga at 11:00am. This will only last around 10 minutes and there is no need to bring offerings.

Afterwards we will do a 21 Green Tara practice with an offering, and will take aporoximately 40 minutes.

We invite everyone to also head over to the Chinese New Year Festival at the Culture Center of Taipei.
