Here’s a prayer for your day, repeat it after us!

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of this day.

Your Word says, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Today, I choose joy.

I cast my cares on You,
because You care for me.

When I am weak,
remind me that Your grace is sufficient for me,
and Your power is made perfect in weakness.

Guide my steps today,
for Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Help me not to lean on my own understanding,
but to acknowledge You in all my ways,
trusting that You will direct my paths.

Fill my heart with Your peace,
the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Help me to love others as You have loved me.

Give me courage,
for You have not given me a spirit of fear,
but of power, love, and a sound mind.

No matter what comes today,
I will trust You,
because You are working all things together for good
for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.

I declare that You are with me,
You go before me,
and You will never leave me nor forsake me.

Today belongs to You.

My life belongs to You.

And I will walk by faith and not by sight.
