Candler Worship Office of Worship at Candler School of Theology, Emory University, Atlanta, Ga.

At Candler, worship follows the natural rhythm of our daily lives, bringing together students, faculty, staff and the greater Emory community to commune with God and one another. The Office of Worship (OOW) offers this page as a way for members of the Candler community to engage in worship as we gather to hear the Word and come to the Table together. This page provides an opportunity to be informed of ways to respond in faith and service.

✨ A word to carry with us beyond the chapel walls! 💜🕊️

A beautiful excerpt from the sermon delivered by Rev. Maureen Shelton (’91T). May these words continue to inspire, encourage, and ground us in our faith throughout the week. 🙏🏾✨

🎶 A prayer in song. 🤍🙏🏾

The Candler Singers lead us in “Hear My Prayer,” reminding us that sometimes the most powerful prayers are the ones we sing. May we always find space to pause, listen, and connect with the Divine. 🕊️✨

🎶 When love lifts, the soul rises! 🤍✨

The Candler Singers remind us of the power of love, faith, and grace through this beautiful rendition of “Love Lifted Me.” May we continue to be lifted by love and rooted in faith. 🕊️💜
