After many years of serving our community, we are announcing the difficult decision that we will be closing our Food Pantry by the end of this year. Unfortunately, due to escalating challenges beyond our control, we are no longer able to operate the pantry in a sustainable way. Rather than compromise the quality of care we provide, we believe closing the Food Pantry is the most responsible step forward.
This decision is not made lightly. Over the years, our Food Pantry has been supported by dedicated volunteers, generous donors, and countless neighbors and partners who believed in our mission. Together, we have provided meat, produce, bread, canned goods and countless non-perishable food items. Along with food distribution came love, comfort and connection to other support services during difficult and challenging times in the lives of individuals and families. We are deeply grateful for every person who contributed their time, resources, and heart to this work.
