What a blessing to worship and reflect on the goodness of God with Pastor Carlos Young Sr. at New Grant Chapel AME Church! 🙏🏾❤️
Our takeaway: “Celebrate What God Has Done, Even When There’s More to Be Done!” — Nehemiah 6:15–16.
We are reminded to pause, give God the glory for how far He has brought us, and continue moving forward in faith, knowing He is still working in our lives. The work may not be finished, but His faithfulness is worth celebrating! 🎉🙌🏾
We celebrate the victories, trust God for the journey, and give Him all the glory! To God be the glory for the great things He has done! ❤️🙏🏾

🤝🏽 UNITED WE STAND! 🙏🏽❤️
A united church is a stronger church. A united family is a stronger family. And a united people can overcome great obstacles! 💪🏽✨

Just as Nehemiah called the people to rise up and rebuild, God is calling us to come together in love, faith, and one purpose. Let’s put aside division, encourage one another, and build together for His glory! 🙌🏽

Where there is unity, there is strength, progress, and victory! 🔥

Fall Festival:

Get ready for some fall fun! Our Fall Festival is coming Saturday, October 24th, from 12 noon until 4 PM!

Bring the entire family and invite your friends and neighbors for an afternoon filled with food, games, Trunk or Treat, inflatables, and plenty of fun for everyone!

And don’t forget our $5 and up store, featuring new and gently used clothes, shoes, and other great items.

There’s something for every age, so come out, enjoy the fellowship, and help us welcome our community.

Saturday, October 24th, from 12 to 4 PM. We’ll see you at the Fall Festival!

Join us at New Grant Chapel AME as we continue an inspiring and powerful teaching series from the Book of Nehemiah with our very own Pastor Carlos Young Sr.! 📖🔥
Last Sunday’s sermon, “DON’T LET FEAR MAKE THE DECISION,” was truly a blessing! We were reminded that fear may come, challenges may arise, and opposition may try to stop us, but we must never allow fear to determine our next move when God has given us an assignment! 🙏🏾
We walked away with three powerful takeaways:
✨ Takeaway #1: REPUTATION — Understanding the importance of our name, our character, and the testimony we carry before others.
💪🏾 Takeaway #2: RESILIENCE — Learning how to stand firm, keep building, and press forward even when challenges, obstacles, and opposition come our way.
🔥 Takeaway #3: CONVICTION — Standing firm in our faith, remaining committed to God’s purpose, and refusing to compromise what we believe, even when fear tries to get in the way.
The Book of Nehemiah reminds us that when God gives us an assignment, we must have the character to represent Him, the resilience to keep going, and the conviction to stand on His Word!
The question is: Will you allow fear to make the decision, or will you trust God and keep building? 🧱🙌🏾
Come expecting a mighty move of God, a word that will strengthen your faith, and a message that will challenge you to grow!

Don’t forget to WEAR PINK TODAY, Sunday, October 11th!

As we recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we invite everyone to wear pink to worship as we celebrate survivors, honor those we’ve lost, and stand in faith and support with those still fighting—including men affected by breast cancer.

💕 DID YOU KNOW?

* 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer during her lifetime.
* Although breast cancer is less common in men, men can develop breast cancer too.
* An estimated 321,910 women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer in 2026.
* Black women experience the highest breast cancer death rate among racial and ethnic groups in the United States.

🎀 Early detection saves lives. Awareness encourages action. And together, we can make a difference!

Let’s fill the sanctuary with PINK today as we stand together in FAITH, HOPE, LOVE, and SUPPORT for women and men affected by breast cancer!
