Friends, our Children’s Chapel begins during the service on September 12th. Parents and members interested in volunteering, join us for a brief meeting in the sanctuary after this service to meet our teachers and learn more about the year ahead.

Let your continual mercy, O Lord, cleanse and defend your Church; and, because it cannot continue in safety without your help, protect and govern it always by your goodness; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Don't forget that our first "Gospel on the Green" next Sunday Aug. 2nd 5-7 pm @ 2220 Bolton Rd - CMUMC is hosting this community outreach event on the first FOUR Sundays in August. There will be music and food. We want to support them with our prayers and presence, so plan to come out, bring a blanket and invite a friend!

What a joy to celebrate the sacrament of baptism together this morning. Praise be to God!

Our children’s ministry at Village is entering a new rhythm! We will have a monthly children’s chapel using the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd curriculum which is beautifully rich and experiential. On the alternate Sundays, we are excited to have children present with us in service.

We have created some special activity bags for kids that we will have available during worship starting tomorrow!

The bags include a beautiful illustrated copy of The Nicene Creed, a catechism journal for coloring, and a clip board for drawing or notes. We pray this engages their creativity and offers joy as they participate in the liturgy, learning rhythms of prayer and praise and hearing from God’s word each week.

The bags will be available to grab from the front door entry (red doors on the left!). We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate this third Sunday of Easter.

Alleluia!
Christ our Passover
has been sacrificed for us;
therefore let us keep the feast.

A joy to be together this second Sunday of Easter! We will continue in this season of Eastertide for another six weeks, rejoicing in the good news that Christ is Risen.

One way we will continue to celebrate Eastertide is through a Parish picnic on Sunday April 25th after church, save the date!
