If you've been saying, "I gotta go to The Faith Community in person one day," this is your sign!

We're hosting a weekend full of events (paid and free) August 21-23 in Atlanta. It's called DAI Fest (pronounced Day Fest).

It's not a conference. It's a homecoming.

If you want to register to attend, hit the link in our profile and click "Register for DAI Fest" under "Shop."

Here's one question I plan to ask Dr. Delman Coates, Ph.D. today on "Deconstructing Lust" on TFC Live.

Matthew 5:28 is the verse everybody quotes — "whoever looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery in his heart." From a Bible scholar's seat, what is Jesus actually critiquing in that passage, and what is he not critiquing?

If you want to shake off the residue of Purity Culture, this episode is for you.

If you like to nerd out on biblical scholarship, this recording is for you.

Type DISRUPT in the comments if you want to be in the live virtual audience or watch the replay on demand. TFC Live is open to all paid tiers on the TFC Virtual Patreon.

A couple of weeks ago, we included a yoga-based meditation moment during worship.

(By yoga-based meditation, we mean simple breathing, gentle movement, and guided stillness—no prior yoga experience required, and all movements were optional.)

And nothing terrible happened—no one was struck down. Instead, many of us felt more grounded and more present in the moment.

It was a powerful experience, beautifully led by our own .

Ever wondered why the end of the world is such a big deal in pop culture—and in the Bible? Or what those wild rock giants in the Noah movie had to do with scripture? 👀

Dr. Dave Garber’s got answers.

This September, join us for “Pre-Apocalyptic: An Introduction to the ‘End’,” a 3-part series led by the professor who literally changed my life and gave me permission to think critically about faith.

🗓 Sept 6, 13 & 20

This isn’t just about Revelation—it’s about the survival literature before it. We’re diving into Zechariah, Ezekiel, maybe even some Apocrypha 👀. It's seminary-level scholarship, starting at just $10/month.

If you’ve ever been told “don't let your learning make you lose your burning” or "the seminary is really the cemetery"—this is your sign that faithful scholarship can actually fuel your fire.

Come ready to question your assumptions.
