Zahria asked her baby boy that one morning, then realized it's the very question the Lord is asking her as His daughter.
"I am his child, and he's my father, and he's asking me a lot of these same questions."
"There's a lot of room in my own heart for growth and peace and stillness."

She would throw her apron over her head, and her whole house knew she was with Jesus.

On Sunday Hannah told us about Susanna Wesley, the mother of John and Charles Wesley, raising a big family in a small, noisy house:
"Whenever I have my apron over my head, that is my time with Jesus, and you are not to disturb it."
"Where are the aprons in your life that God's inviting you to carve out times of quieting with Him?"

Pride doesn't always look loud.

Hannah said it like this on Sunday:
"Most of the pride I've met in my own heart is much quieter. It looks like strength. It looks like responsibility."
"It's the reason we don't ask for help, because we don't want to be a burden."
"Independence may feel like a virtue, but in the kingdom is often just pride with good manners."
