Freshwater Church St. John USVI A St John local Christian Church that gathers for worship at Hawksnest Beach and serves the community with love. We welcome all.

Believers in Christ meeting together regularly for worship at Hawksnest Beach and in our homes for Bible study. We are a church plant of the SBC and we welcome all denominations, respecting doctrinal differences, enjoying encouragement through fellowship, and magnifying Christ together.

We’ll gather at Hawksnest Beach at 9:00 AM for worship and a message from Mark 6:1-6, “Missing Jesus”. We’ll sing Psalm 8 (Hallé), Great Things, and Blessed Assurance, and we’ll be reminded that the greatest danger isn’t that we know too little about Jesus; it’s thinking we already know all we need to know.

Our free Freshwater safari shuttle will pick up at:

We’ll gather at Hawksnest Beach at 9:00 AM for worship, fellowship, and a message from Mark 5:21-43, “Don’t Stop Believing”. We’ll sing Homesick For Heaven, Goodness of God, and Wondrous Cross, and we’ll be reminded that Jesus calls us to trust Him even when the situation seems impossible.

What a week! ❤️

As the 2026 St. John Celebration comes to a close, we simply want to say thank you.

The Children’s Village was only possible because an incredible community came together.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers, our business partners, and the many organizations who made this week possible.

Special thanks to Trucking, Hill School, & Jack’s Deli, Windmill Bar, ’s Pizza an’ Mo, Shore Deli, . John Brewers Tap Room, City Ice, . John Cancer Fund, the Virgin Islands Police Department, Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority, Virgin Islands Department of Public Works, and Virgin Islands National Park for your incredible partnership.

Most of all, thank you to the people of St. John. Thank you for bringing your children, supporting our volunteers, and making this year’s Children’s Village such a wonderful success. Watching so many kids laugh, play, and make memories was a joy.

We are grateful for this community and already look forward to next year.
