At the end of VBS, we treated the children to enjoy some delicious donuts, they were very excited!

We thank God for His many blessings and are especially grateful with our brother in Christ Emilio Acosta for allowing us to use his church’s van “Iglesia Bautista Belén” to transport the children. Their kindness, support, and generosity were truly appreciated.

Day 4 of VBS at Dunwoody Baptist Church.
Last day of VBS! The theme was “I Can Pray!” learning from Jesus’ example in Gethsemane as He prayed during the spiritual pressure He faced before His crucifixion. The children learned that they can find peace, direction, and strength through prayer, and that they can pray in every circumstance.

Today was a very fun and meaningful day. We are so grateful to DBC for the opportunity to have our Children’s Ministry participate in VBS. Thank you to everyone who helped make this week such a blessing for our kids!

Day 3 of VBS at Dunwoody Baptist Church.
“I can give my all”

Today, the children learned about “generosity” through the Bible story of the widow who, in the midst of a crowd, gave everything she had to live on. Her offering demonstrated her joy, faith, trust, and complete dedication to God, while the wealthy gave only from their abundance.

The children discovered an important lesson: God sees the intentions of our hearts, not the amount we give.
True generosity comes from love, faith, and a willing spirit.

What a wonderful and blessed day of learning, growing, and sharing God’s love!

Day 2 of VBS
“I Can Be Brave!”
Today’s theme was “I Can Be Brave!”, based on the Bible story of Esther, a courageous woman who trusted God and stood up for her people.

When asked, “How can I be brave?” the most common answer from the children was, “praying”. It was encouraging to see them recognize that courage comes from trusting God and seeking His guidance.

Despite the rain, the children arrived in our site at Dunwoody Glen Apartments & Townhomes, with excitement and enthusiasm, and nothing could stop them from enjoying another wonderful day of VBS at Dunwoody Baptist Church. We are grateful for a great day of learning, faith, friendship, and fun!

1st day of VBS!
We are so grateful with Dunwoody Baptist Church for the opportunity for our Children’s Ministry and to be part of this wonderful week. Today, the children learned about Joseph and how God gave him strength.

Our annual Easter party with the children from our community homework program was filled with joy. The kids enjoyed it so much and were very happy.
