We’ve had a few days full of activity and special events. This week we also held our monthly food distribution in the community, bringing a bit of relief during these Easter days. Thanks to Midwest Food Bank & Dunwoody Baptist Church for the provision and support.

We had a truly unforgettable experience with our after-school kids celebrating Easter, with eggs hunt, pizzas, cupcakes, special gifts, and most profoundly, sharing with them the life-changing truth that God loved the world so much that He sent His one and only son to save us, filling their hearts with joy and their lives with purpose.

We made beautiful Easter bags for the children filled with stuff animals, snacks, Easter eggs, little toys, Jesus coloring books, crayons, bookmarks with Bible verses and rubber bands with Jesus messages.

✨🙏 We joyfully celebrated our annual Easter event! 🙏✨

This past Saturday, we had the blessing of hosting our annual Easter celebration in Dunwoody Glen Apartments & Townhomes. As we do each year, we shared with children and adults the true meaning of Easter—the resurrection of Jesus. ✝️💛

It was a beautiful time filled with love and joy. We were able to give out 150 Easter bags to children, each one filled with gifts and messages about Jesus. We also prepared goodie bags for the little ones and stuffed animals for the babies. 🧸✨ In addition, this year we gave a lot of books that the children could take home.

Adults were also blessed with grocery bags and snack bags to take home. Every bag had Easter tracts continuing to plant God’s Word in their hearts. 📖♥️

We are deeply grateful to all the donors who made this event possible. A special thank you to the Georgia Power employees who generously raised funds, assembled 30 Easter bags for the children, and also provided light refreshments for our volunteers. 🙌

This event was filled with joy and gladness, both in the children and in every volunteer who came with a willing heart to serve. 💫

Spring of Peace Ministry.
As we prepare Easter bags for our annual celebration, we're excited to share the true meaning of this special day with children and their families, inspiring hope and joy in our community. 🎉 A Very Special Birthday Celebration 🎉

We recently had the honor of celebrating one of the most incredible 7-year-olds we know—Alexa. 💛

Alexa is part of our after-school program and has been bravely battling leukemia for the past two years. Through every challenge, she has shown unwavering strength, courage, and faith, always leaning on Jesus for hope and healing.

For her birthday, Alexa had one special wish—to celebrate with our kids ministry family and make everything about Jesus. ✨ She even wanted to dress as Jesus—such a beautiful reflection of the love and faith in her heart. ✨ And that’s exactly what we did!

With the generous support of Dunwoody Baptist Church, who provided beautiful decorations and meaningful crafts for the kids, the day turned into a truly remarkable and joy-filled celebration.

It was more than a birthday—it was a testimony of faith, love, and community coming together to lift up one precious child who inspires us all.

Please continue to keep Alexa and her family in your prayers as they step into this new, joyful chapter. 🙏💛

This year, we have held three food distribution days with provisions from the Midwest Food Bank and the support of Dunwoody Baptist Church. This effort has been a great source of support for single mothers and families in our community. They are deeply grateful for this assistance and the generosity that makes it possible. We also take this opportunity to share a short meditation on the Word and pray with the families who come to receive this support. It is a meaningful moment of encouragement, connection, and spiritual care for everyone involved.
