What a joy to gather for our Neighborhood Groups Kickoff earlier this week!

We were reminded again that following Jesus is not something we do alone. We’re grateful for every person who has stepped into a Neighborhood Group this season (almost 800 of you in 46 groups!), and for the simple, meaningful ways these smaller expressions of the Church make space for growth and belonging.

In the weeks ahead, Neighborhood Groups will gather in homes across our city. We’re praying that each one would be a place where people are known, encouraged, and formed more deeply in the way of Jesus.

Can you believe it’s already September? Kids are back in school and it’s that time of the year we’ve got alot of good things happening in the life of our church.

Tonight, we’ve got our Neighborhood Kickoff, and we hope to see you there! Throughout the month if you’re a parent, we have some great opportunities for you to check out from baptism classes to Parent to Parent Nights to a Dad’s Connecting Group! There are also a few ways to get involved with our partner, Lazarus, and then Alpha is starting October 1, so be thinking if there’s someone you’d like to invite!

You're invited! Alpha is a series of relaxed evenings where we share a free meal, hear a short talk, and talk through the big questions of life. Everyone is welcome. There’s no pressure, no follow-up, and no charge to attend—just honest conversations. It’s designed for people who don’t already identify as Christians or regularly attend church.

If you’re exploring faith, questioning, or just plain curious about Christianity, Alpha is for you.

Our next Alpha takes place over eight weeks beginning October 1 from 7-9pm. Head to our bio to learn more and register yourself and your guest.

September and early October offer lots of pre-plunge opportunities for folks of all ages to learn about baptism and decide if they're ready to wade in! The Kids Class is for 3rd-4th graders, while the Youth Class is for middle and high schoolers. Both of these are 2-part classes.
Parents of Kids and Youth considering baptism should attend the Monday evening Parent Baptism class, and adults pursuing baptism have a 1-part Sunday morning class. Check out the class list below!

At Trinity, we believe that every person is made in the image of God and deserves dignity. That’s why we’re so excited for Lazarus Health Day on Sunday, September 20 at 2pm — a day when we join together with our partner, , to offer free medical resources, food, clothing, art, and more to people in our city experiencing homelessness.

This day isn’t just about meeting needs; it’s about celebrating kinship. Volunteers and neighbors come side by side — eating together, laughing together, and sharing life. You don’t have to be a doctor or nurse to serve (though we need those too!) — all you need is a willing heart and some extra hands. From Kids and Job Prep to Food and Hospitality, from Setup to Cleanup, there’s a place for you.

Leading up to Health Day, we’re also inviting our community into the Hygiene Kit Drive. Our goal is to collect 500 hygiene kits filled with simple, everyday items (like socks, toothbrushes, and granola bars) to distribute directly to our unhoused neighbors. It’s a small gesture with a big impact. Learn more on our website.

You can also attend the Lazarus Info Session on September 6 after the 9 and 11am services to learn more about our partner and the gift they are to the Atlanta homeless community.

On Sunday night, we celebrated our incredible Kids Team! 🎉 It was a joyful evening filled with food, fellowship, door prizes, and lots of gratitude for the volunteers who take care of our Kids so well.

And we’re not done growing! We’re looking for about 40 new volunteers to join the team and help kids know God’s love, grow in faith, and discover their place in God’s big story. Whether you have years of experience or have never served with kids before, there’s a place for you! Come be part of what God is doing in the next generation.

Alpha is coming! It will take place over eight weeks in October and November 2026. Let us know if you're interested in being a part of the Alpha Team by heading to atltrinity.org/teams .

We're also excited to gather with churches from across Atlanta for a night of worship and prayer as we prepare to host Alpha this fall!

Together, we’ll ask God to move throughout our city—to awaken curiosity, lower barriers, and draw people into life-changing encounters with Jesus through Alpha. We’ll pray for every guest, host, volunteer, and church preparing for the season ahead, trusting the Holy Spirit to open doors for honest conversations about life, faith, and meaning.
