Mount Nebo Methodist Church is under the new leadership of Reverend Glenn Petero. The church is connected to the North Georgia Conference of the Global Methodist Church. The church offers educational and outreach programs, regular Bible study small groups, friendship and volunteer opportunities for people of all ages, members and non-members alike. Along with the large playground area, the church

features the only pipe organ in a Protestant church within the Dallas – Hiram area. The people of the church welcome visitors to join them during any of their worship services and community projects.

Creator Lord, you restore and renew us, calling us out of darkness into your light. When fear and worry overwhelm us, help us trust in your care. May we live in hope, knowing your love brings healing and new beginnings. Amen.

Wise and mighty God, your strength is unmatched, and your wisdom is beyond measure. Keep us humble, that we may receive your grace. Teach us to trust in your power, not our own, and teach us to walk in kindness and humility. Amen.

Faithful Creator, draw us closer to you each day. Guide our hearts to seek you and commit to your ways. Help us grow in faith, wisdom, and love, so our lives may reflect your goodness and grace. Amen.

Eternal God, keep our hearts focused on you, not on the world. As we trust in your wisdom, help us to be faithful witnesses, sharing the good news of your love and forgiveness. Strengthen us to walk in your ways each day. Amen.

Holy Teacher, there is none like you. You are holy, everlasting, and full of glory. You reign forever, and all creation sings your praise. Help us to trust in your power and stand firm in awe of your greatness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

These are the words of the Holy One, the True One, “I know your works. Look, I have set before you an open door that no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.” Revelation 3:7,8

Mighty God, you are our refuge in trials and our strength in uncertainty. Even when the way is hard, we trust in your power to save. Open the doors you have set before us, and help us walk forward in faith and courage. Amen.
