Is there something in your life that feels buried?

A dream?

A relationship?

An expectation?

A season you thought would last longer?

A version of your future you were certain would happen?

Bring it honestly before Jesus.

Do not force yourself to call the loss good.

Do not pretend it does not hurt.

But ask:

“Lord Jesus, have I confused my plan with Your promise?”

Then ask:

“What does resurrection hope look like here?”

Perhaps the answer will not be the restoration of the old.

Perhaps Christ is inviting you into something new.

Whatever the answer, anchor yourself in the truth that cannot change:

Jesus Christ is alive.

This will be my last prayer for you today. I know you are desperate, but calm yourself; God will wait for you. He will not leave you. He is a faithful God who cares for you. Trust me, I know! He had to wait on me for 40 years, but He did.

A prayer for the searching soul, say this with me as you read this,

Heavenly Father,

I come to You not because I have it all together,
but because I have run out of ways to carry this on my own.

I may not know all the right words.
I may have wandered further than I meant to.
But right now, in this moment, I am turning toward You.

Forgive me for the places I have strayed.
Heal the places that are broken inside me.
Quiet the shame that tells me I am too far gone.

I believe You came looking for me.
I believe Your love has never stopped reaching.
And today, I choose to reach back.

Come into my heart. Be my Lord. Be my peace.
Lead me home — one step at a time.

I trust You with what I cannot yet see.

Amen.

Galatians 6:9: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." This verse encourages persistence in good deeds, assuring that efforts will be rewarded in due time.
I am praying for you. Pray for me, as well. Many times we find ourselves in troubled times, even when we are doing good for others and ourselves.
But trouble does not bother to look at our good times; it is only concerned about destroying the things of God (Happiness, Joy, Peace, Love, etc.).
We are the most precious of God's creation, so we should not be surprised when trouble joins invites him to the celebration table.
Those of us who are seeking God in all things must remember this verse in our time of need.
God is our present help in our time of need. Do you need anything today?
Just say, Jesus, and God will get the victory out of your life in His season. Hang tough, my friends. Don't forget to pray to God only.
Not the Pastor, Bishop, Mother, or Father...They are only managers of God's work.
