Bishop François was recently interviewed about "What can the ancient Christian tradition of the Middle East teach us about living the Catholic faith today?" In this episode of The Catholic Theology Show, Dr. Michael Dauphinais welcomes Bishop François Beyrouti, Eparchial Bishop of Newton for the Melkite Catholic Church in the US, to explore the history, beauty, and mission of the Melkite Catholic Church. Yesterday a group of ladies came together to bake 24 loaves of qurban. There was also a demonstration prior to Divine Liturgy of how the qurban is cut prior to receiving it as communion. This is a rare site for most people since it is typically done in the Holy Place during Orthos. If you are interested in learning how to prepare qurban, please reach out to Abouna or Kh. Sarah.
