Our Bridge class (5th-7th grade) is beginning a 3 week class in the morning before church on baptism. It’s exciting to watch our kids grow up around us and become their own people, ready to ask questions and turn their faith into their own personal relationship with God. Join us in praying for this class and the students over the next 3 Sundays.

This month, our sermon series will be based on Richard Foster’s Celebration of Discipline, titled Encountering the Spiritual Life. We will explore how we encounter God inwardly in rhythms of devotion, outwardly in rhythms of mercy, and corporately in rhythms of community. Foster reminds us that the goal of the spiritual life isn’t about becoming more busy. It’s becoming available to God and thus becoming more free.

See you on State Street!
