Let Your Yes Be Yes

Last week God helped us uncover Silent Disobedience — those quiet moments when we paused, hesitated, or held back on what He already told us.

That word was necessary, but it was heavy.

This week, the Lord is inviting us into something lighter, brighter, and full of joy: The Gift of a Simple Yes.

A simple yes clears the mental clutter. A simple yes breaks the hesitation. A simple yes lifts the spiritual weight. A simple yes brings your joy back.

You don’t need the full blueprint — just a willing heart. God moves the moment you agree with Him. Your yes doesn’t have to be loud, long, or perfect… it just has to be real.

“Lord, give me a simple, cheerful yes — one that keeps me light, willing, and ready.”

Do I LOVE You,
The answer is YES…just that simple 🙌🏽

Silent Disobedience

In 1 Samuel 15:22, Samuel reminds us that God desires obedience more than activity, performance, or sacrifice. Saul looked obedient on the outside, but quietly resisted God’s instruction on the inside. That same pattern can show up in our own lives if we’re not careful.

Here’s the heart of the message:

Silent disobedience is when the hands say “yes,” but the heart whispers “no.” It often hides behind good intentions, busyness, or partial obedience. It begins quietly — in hesitation, negotiation, or selective agreement. And it interrupts what God is trying to release, build, or bless in our lives.

God isn’t asking us for perfection. He’s asking for alignment — honest, wholehearted obedience without edits, delays, or personal adjustments. When our heart aligns with His instruction, our steps follow, and His favor flows freely.

Our prayer tonight:
“Lord, reveal the quiet places where I resist You. Give me the courage to obey fully, quickly, and without negotiation.” 🙌🏽
