On April 14, 2004, the vision for our church was impressed upon the heart of Pastor Philip during a time of prayer alone in a small North Carolina apartment. He recorded everything God showed him regarding the future impact of this church and hid that piece of paper in an old picture frame he has to this day. In June of 2010, Pastor Philip and his family arrived in Atlanta, Georgia with an empty b

ank account, no jobs and nothing but their hopes of starting a life-empowering church. After two more years of preparation, serving in a local church, and even leading a notable youth movement called The Vibe, Pastor Philip felt the leading of God to step out in faith and begin the ground work to plant our church. Then on February 22, 2012, he and his wife, Lena, along with 10 other believers, held their first launch team meeting in a Days Inn Hotel. From that day forward, they began to gather weekly for prayer, planning, and vision casting. God began adding to their numbers and moving mightily on their behalf as the mission to plant our church started to become a reality. After nine months of strategic planning, 2819 (Formerly Victory Church ATL) held its first public worship Gathering on October 7, 2012, with 245 adults in attendance. Pastor Philip now leads this growing group of believers with a burning passion and clear vision to lift up Christ, retrieve the lost, and empower people.

Together, as daughters and co-laborers of this House, we gathered in stillness and in worship to the Lord.

Led by the covering our very own Lady Lena, daughter’s of the King left encouraged as Christ’s ambassadors who walk in power and authority under the Great Commission.
