Barnabas International

Barnabas International Barnabas International is a ministry of comfort, encouragement and practical support. Through the entire process we include scripture, counsel, and prayer.

We believe that every human being deserves the right to be heard, understood, and supported. We encourage all individuals to work with beliefs, feelings, and questions as they deal with life’s circumstances. We provide a framework for understanding the situation, support for decisions, and encouragement for dealing with the opportunities and challenges of life. A vital part of this ongoing dialogu

e is communicating with family and friends. Our intent is to deepen an individual’s awareness of the spiritual resources available for dealing with life and to provide personal support and encouragement.

Ash Wednesday meets us with a gentle reminder: from dust we came, and to dust we will return— yet in between, grace holds us, mercy reshapes us, and love calls us home again. May this season draw us closer to God, closer to renewal, and closer to the kind of life that reflects His heart. ✨

As Lunar New Year (Feb 17) , Ramadan (Feb17), and Lent (Feb18) begin, these days invite us into reflection, gratitude, and deeper faith. Across traditions, we’re reminded of our shared humanity—our longing for peace, our hope for renewal, and our call to love one another well. May these sacred days inspire unity in our diversity, kindness in our differences, and compassion in all the places our stories meet.

In a world chasing fleeting affection, I rest in the love that shaped the stars. A love ancient and ever-new, poured out through Christ— steady as grace, tender as mercy, endless as eternity. Today I celebrate the One who loved me first, held me close, and calls me His own. ❤️

Holy God, You call us Your sons and daughters, and You call us to be holy as You are holy. Today we confess our silence, our inaction, and the times we claimed to love our neighbor without actually showing up for them.

Lord, forgive us. Cleanse us. Call us out of comfort and into compassion. Give us courage to step toward the hurting, strength to speak when truth is needed, and boldness to act when love demands more than words.

Make our lives a reflection of Your holiness. Turn our intentions into action, our prayers into participation, and our faith into movement. Use us, Lord—for Your glory and for our neighbor’s good. Amen.

A core tenant of American democracy is civil dissent and civil disobedience. It is the people's difference of opinion from the federal, state or local administration/government. They are not unpatriotic, in fact they are even more patriotic. At their core civil dissent and civil disobedience are non-violent peaceful protest. Don't let them change the narrative or shift the paradigm that peaceful protest are violent because this presidential administration has weaponized our American National Guard Forces and Immigration Customs Enforcement Officers against American Citizens, legal residents and non-violent undocumented individuals and let us not forget the children.

If civil dissent and civil disobedience do not occur, harmful polices and laws do not change. If civil dissent and civil disobedience had not occurred in our American history I would still be a slave, not have the right to an education or participate in American democracy.

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ participated in civil dissent and civil disobedience. Jesus of Nazareth's ministry frequently involved nonviolent direct action that challenged the religious, social, and political authorities of his day. His actions are often interpreted by scholars as a form of prophetic nonviolent or civil disobedience, where he placed the higher law of love and justice above established, man-made legal and purity codes. There are several examples in scripture demonstrating that Jesus was not passive; he intentionally broke social and religious norms to highlight systemic injustice.
