Volunteers needed on August 2 @ Pleasantdale ES

Embry Hills UMC has long-supported Pleasantdale Elementary School through its Snax Sax for Kids ministry, so we were thrilled when Pleasantdale reached out for help in recruiting volunteers for their Open House on August 2 (9:00 am-1:00 pm).
It is expected that 550 families will come to the school to meet their teachers, register, etc. They are requesting 10 folks to come assist parents by helping fill out free lunch applications, helping with the application process, or to be runners to make copies of lease agreements. (Spanish speakers are a plus, but that is not necessary to help this day go smoothly.)

Join the 2023 HungerWalk/Run 5k Snax Sax Team!!!
As a Partner Agency of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, EHUMC’s Snax Sax for Kids will receive 80%-100% of donations made toward the Embry Hills UMC Snax Sax Team for the 2023 Hunger/Walk Run on March 12. You can support Snax Sax for Kids by donating, going in-person to the event, or by participating virtually whenever and however you want! Whichever way you choose, thanks for your support!

Hello Snax Sax friends, we are down to our last two packs of the school year! It’s been wonderful to be back to “normal” making weekly deliveries. Thank you to Lakeside HoPe for volunteering your time to give back to our community this afternoon! With your help we packed 131 bags for our local schools to kick off the semester.
