¿Qué decisión has tomado?

"No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other..." (Matthew 6:24).

We are free to choose between two masters, but you are not free to adjust the consequences of your choice. Each of the two masters pays with his own kind of currency. The currency of sin is eternal death. That is all you can expect or hope for in life without God. Christ's currency is eternal life-new life with God that begins on earth and continues forever with God.

What choice have you made?

Choose Eternal life through Jesus Christ. Eternal life is a gift from God. If it is a gift, then it is not something that we can earn, and it is not something that must be paid back. Consider the foolishness of someone who receives a gift given out of love and then offers to pay for it.

A gift cannot be purchased by the recipient. A more appropriate response to a loved one who offers a gift is graceful acceptance with gratitude. Our Salvation is a gift from God, not something of our own doing (Ephesians 2:8,9). He has saved those that trust Him because of love and mercy, not because of any good things that we have done (Titus 3:5).

How much more should we accept with thanksgiving the gift that God has freely given to us through Jesus Christ.

19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; 21 for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Storing up treasure in heaven is not just tithing or giving money to the Church, but it is actually our Spirit led obedience to God's word. If we let (listen to) the Holy Spirit, we will naturally produce fruit that pleases God. In fact, our priority in life ought to be to please God with who we are, how we walk and even our attitude about the life He has given us.

In keeping with Christ’s teaching, God is the true treasure of our lives. When we value Him above all else, our hearts become aligned with His will, and the blessings He gives us overflow to others. As Jesus taught, where our treasure is, there our hearts will be also, and storing up treasures in heaven means seeking God and living according to His word.

Reading John 1 this morning and I have to say, its incredible that God became human for our sake and even died on our behalf. He didn't stay dead though. Its even more incredible that He rose again defeating the very thing that keeps people in bo***ge, sin and death. His death means that as a believer in Christ, I'm dead to sin too. His resurrection means that as a believer in Christ, I too, have arisen from spiritual death unto life.

Don't know about you but I'm glad this morning of what Jesus has done for me. His love was and is unfailing along with His faithfulness.

I trust Him. I trust Jesus with my salvation, I trust Him to give me eternal life. How about you?

Have you asked Jesus to come into your life? We must be willing to turn from the ways of the world back to Jesus, the light of the world. The Holy Spirit nudges us to come to Jesus in repentance and acceptance of Christ as LORD and Savior.

If you are reading this, the time is now to ask the Savior into your life, give Him your heart, repent, and follow Him (discipleship).

Blessings!

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”

Plain meaning: To believe is more than a "mind" agreement that Jesus is God. It means to put our total trust in Him that He alone can save us. It is to put Christ in charge of our lives including our plans and our eternity. Believing in Jesus is to trust His words but also to rely upon Him to change us from the inside out.

Only God can save us from what we really fear: death and eternal condemnation. But when Jesus talks about unbelievers, He is talking about those that reject Him or ignore Him completely, not those that have momentary doubts.

The Scripture above is saying unbelievers are afraid of coming to the light (Jesus) because coming to Him would expose the darkness in their lives, and they don't want their lives to be exposed, they don't want to change for Christ.

Don't be surprised when these same people are threatened by your desire to obey God and do what is right. Light exposes darkness. Be encouraged and keep praying that people will see, in you, how much better it is to live for Christ and live in darkness.

Blessings!

I don’t often share items but this….

Every word spoken is written in heaven. Every syllable we release carries eternal significance. Jesus Himself said, “For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned” (Matthew 12:37). What a sobering truth, that heaven records what our lips release.

Our tongues hold the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21). With the same mouth, we bless God and curse those made in His image. How easily we forget that our speech reveals the state of our hearts. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. When the tongue is sharp, the soul is unhealed. When words are cruel, the heart is still hiding pain.

How many careless words have slipped past our lips: sarcasm disguised as humor, gossip cloaked in concern, anger justified as honesty? How many times have we used our words to defend our pride instead of reflect His grace? Each word leaves a mark, not only on others but on us. Words don’t vanish; they echo in eternity.

In these last days, the Spirit invites us to bring our tongues to the altar. To repent for words that wounded. To ask forgiveness for conversations that carried pride, criticism, or deception. To be made new, so that the same mouth that once tore down might now build up, encourage, and bless.

When Isaiah saw the Lord’s holiness, he cried out, “Woe is me! I am a man of unclean lips.” But then, the seraphim touched his lips with a coal from the altar and said, “Your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for” (Isaiah 6:6–7). That same mercy is available for us today.

May the Lord purify our speech. May He cleanse our hearts, so that our words become rivers of living water. May our mouths speak only what gives life, truth, and healing.

Let your tongue be a vessel of grace.
Let your words become worship.
Let heaven hear in your speech the echo of a heart surrendered to God ❤️‍🔥

A Word for Today’s Saints

Saints, we often ask ourselves: What is life really about? Too often, the enemy convinces people that life is about more—more money, more possessions, more status. But God has always told us there is more to life than acquiring things. He knows life because He created life.

And His requirement is not complicated. He lays it out plainly in Micah 6:8:

“No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what He requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”

But look around today. Instead of loving mercy and walking humbly, our society is rotting before our eyes. People in power manipulate truth, leaders are corrupt, and selfishness replaces justice. And this decay does not stop at the government level—it creeps into families and friendships.

Micah saw it in his day, and we are seeing it in ours:

“Don’t trust anyone—not your best friend or even your loved one! For the son despises his father. The daughter defies her mother. The daughter-in-law defies her mother-in-law. Your enemies are right in your own household.” (Micah 7:5–6, NLT)

Even Jesus picked up this same warning when He told His disciples in Matthew 10:34–36:

“Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword. I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. Your enemies will be right in your own household.”

What does this mean for us today? It means that when you choose to follow Christ and live by God’s standards, the world—even your own family at times—may resist you. The truth of Christ exposes where hearts really stand. Loyalty to Him can bring division, not because He wants strife, but because light and darkness cannot live together.

And yet, here is our hope: while the world shakes, our God never changes. Society may rot, relationships may strain, but if we hold fast to Christ, He promises life, peace, and eternal reward.

So, saints—don’t be discouraged when the world grows darker. Don’t lose faith if even those closest to you misunderstand your walk with Christ. Keep enduring. Keep doing what is right. Keep loving mercy. Keep walking humbly with your God. Because one day, your faith will be rewarded, and you will see that it was worth it all.

Blessings in Christ!
