For now here are 7 Little Ways To Brighten Your Day...
1. Linger over your favorite hot beverage. Taking time to pause feels like a luxury. Spend a few extra minutes sipping and enjoying being still.
2. Take your next call outside. Resist the temptation to stay confined to your workspace. Exercise the freedom to explore nature while you chat.
3. Encourage a friend. When's the last time you called a friend just to let them know you appreciate having them in your life? Today is a good day to show someone a little love.
4. Smile on purpose. When you smile it causes others to want to smile back at you. Try it!
5. Meditate on the good. Gratitude is simply meditating on the good you've found. Life is not always good, but there is always good around you.
6. Try a new restaurant. Getting into a routine can lead to discontentment. Variety keeps things interesting. Get out of your meal-time box and try something new.
7. End the day with a bath instead of a shower. Immerse yourself in warmth and allow the tension of the day to melt away.
