This story is a beautiful reminder that there are so many ways to care for vulnerable children and families, and that God often uses the resources, gifts, and capacity He’s already given His people to meet tangible needs.

If you’d like to learn more about foster care, adoption, and supporting vulnerable families, visit our events page to register for one of our Foster Care & Adoption informationals or Think Through It Live: “How Can We Help Vulnerable Kids?” happening this Sunday.

As we conclude our series Seven Deadly Sins, we’re reminded that the greatest defense against sin isn’t simply resisting it but it’s being awake to the Lord. When we are are in community and also filled with His Spirit, captured by His presence, and guided by His wisdom, we aren’t left susceptible to wrath, pride, lust, gluttony, greed, or envy taking root. May we be a people set on fire, walking wisely and led by His Spirit in every area of life.

Last week, we sent a team to Rome to visit our partner church, Breccia di Roma. Throughout the week, Pastor Reid Karr shared about the religious climate in Rome and the obstacles they face as they seek to faithfully proclaim the gospel.

One of our Christ Covenant elders, Shep Parke, also taught from Philippians 4 on the roots of our anxiety and the reason believers are called not to be anxious.

Pray that the Lord would soften hearts and open eyes to the people of Rome, and that people would learn to understand the power of the one true gospel. Also pray for the Karr family and Breccia di Roma Church as they continue to labor on where the good news that they share isn’t often welcome.

Everything we have is simply a rental.

When our identity is rooted in the Lord rather than in our possessions, we’re free to hold them loosely, to share generously, and to enjoy them with a heart of worship. Every good gift comes from the Father, and remembering that changes everything about the way we live.

We invite you to join us this Sunday as we continue in our Seven Deadly Sins series.

Join us for an evening focused on Georgia’s foster care crisis and how we can respond together as a church. Our partners will walk us through stories and insight, followed by a time of Q&A so we can ask questions and learn practical ways to get involved.

Be sure to register for dinner and childcare in advance on our events page.

What if temperance isn’t about restriction, but about freedom?

In 1 Timothy 6:6-10, we are reminded that contentment in the Lord allows us to truly enjoy the good things of life—holding every blessing with open hands rather than letting it define us.

We hope you will join us this Sunday as we continue our Seven Deadly Sins series.

In our current series Seven Deadly Sins, we looked at lust through 1 Thessalonians 4:1–11 and were reminded that fighting sin was never meant to be a solo effort. Sin grows in the dark, but it loses ground when we bring it into the light together.

In our new sermon series, Seven Deadly Sins, we’ve looking at Romans 12:17–21 and confronting Wrath: the quarrelsome spirit.

When we’re wronged, everything in us wants to even the score. But that instinct isn’t the way of Jesus, it’s the pattern of the world.

Scripture invites us not into passivity, but into a thoughtful, intentional response that reflects the heart of God.

So where might God be calling you to pause, give thought, and choose what is honorable instead of what feels justified?

John 16:16–24 tells us what it means to follow Jesus with hearts fully alive to Him. A Christian doesn’t just follow God, we delight in Him and see His beauty in all things.

This week we start a new series, Seven Deadly Sins, and we hope you will join us for one of our services at Sandy Springs at 9 & 11 AM or at Armour at 9 & 11 AM or 5 PM.
