With deep sadness, we mourn the death of our brother in Christ, Rev. Frank Christo Wise Jr. He entered the Church Triumphant on Friday, August 28, 2026.

He was ordained on June 12, 1973, and served Faith Lutheran Church in Clay, Alabama, from 1975 to 1996.

The memorial service was held privately, at his request.

Rest eternal grant him, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon him.

Let us pray:

“O God of grace and glory, we remember before you today our sibling in Christ. We thank you for giving them to us to know and to love as a companion in our pilgrimage on earth. In your boundless compassion, console us who mourn. Give us faith to see that death has been swallowed up in the victory of our Lord Jesus Christ, so that we may live in confidence and hope until, by your call, we are gathered to our heavenly home in the company of all your saints; through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.”
