Brother Lawrence was a 17th-century monk best known for his simple yet profound practice of continually turning his heart toward God throughout the day.
He believed that God's presence was not reserved for church services, prayer meetings, or quiet times. Instead, He learned to commune with God while washing dishes, preparing meals, and carrying out ordinary responsibilities. His example reminds us that every moment can become an opportunity to draw near to the Lord.
