Christmas Cantata at First Baptist Church on Gresham Road was nothing short of amazing.
From the powerful vocals to the live instrumentation, storytelling, and overall production — you could feel the heart, excellence, and intentionality in every moment. This wasn’t just a performance, it was an experience that truly captured the spirit of Christmas.
And like any great production, there were real, unfiltered behind-the-scenes moments that reminded me why I love documenting live events — the authenticity, the teamwork, and the humanity that happens offstage before everything comes together beautifully onstage.
Major salute to the leadership, choir, musicians, production team, and everyone who played a part. First Baptist Church on Gresham Road continues to set the bar for worship and creativity.

Today’s sermon by Pastor Norman Thomas Jr. hit home.
He reminded us that while we often focus on the outside — how we look, how people see us, how life appears — the real work is on the inside.
A clean spirit.
A fresh heart.
A renewed mindset.
Pastor Thomas pushed us to stop polishing the surface while ignoring what’s going on within. Because when the inside is right, the outside will naturally fall into place.
A needed reminder to slow down, reset, and let God refresh us from the inside out. 🙏✨
