There comes a point in life where you have to be at peace with being the “villain” in someone else’s story.

Not because you have done wrong, but because your obedience exposed what they were unwilling to confront. Every hero has been misunderstood by someone. Even Jesus Christ was falsely accused, hated without cause, and portrayed as the enemy by those whose hearts rejected the light.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” — John 1:5

When you choose righteousness, integrity, and truth, don’t expect everyone to celebrate your walk. Some will rewrite your story to justify their own choices. Others will label your convictions as judgment because your life reminds them of what they refuse to change.

Don’t spend your life trying to correct every false narrative. Live in such a way that God writes the final chapter.

Remember, people who are committed to darkness often resent those who choose to walk in the light—not because light is evil, but because it reveals what darkness tries to hide.

Keep walking in love.
Keep walking in truth.
Keep walking in righteousness.

God never called you to manage everyone’s opinion. He called you to remain faithful.
