Happy Pride, Y’all!

Most of us are not okay.

So as a spiritual practice, you are invited to join us for an Airing of Grievances.

We are angry.
We want more to be done.
But we also have to tend to the needs of our souls.
In expressing our anger and sadness and grief out loud and sharing that experience with others, we make room for healing and grace to make their way in.

This practice is one that is meant to build unity and understanding. The only rule at the airing of grievances is this: No name calling. Not of individuals or of political parties or of organizations.

It may sound simple. It may sound impossible or pointless not to name those we are angry with. But we will honor our emotions by letting them speak for themselves.

Our time together will be around the table in our outdoor pavilion and lunch will be provided. Come ready to share and listen and we will close with an inclusive prayer.
