The Dix family means so much to our Desire Street community — thank you to everyone who has been covering them in prayer throughout this journey!

On February 20, Justin Dix received a life‑saving kidney transplant from his father, Emmanuel. Both are now home recovering; Emmanuel is healing exceptionally well with a full recovery expected in 4–6 weeks. Justin’s recovery will take about 8–12 weeks with daily medications, monthly infusions, and strict precautions to protect his health. After an ER visit a week after the surgery due to a hematoma, he’s now back home and continuing to recover. These first 12 weeks are crucial, and the family is walking this path together with great care.
