It was an honor and a privilege to sit down for coffee and conversation with Mr. George Rishfeld, a child Holocaust survivor. George’s Hebrew name, Betzalel, means "in the shadow of God"—and after hearing a small part of his story of miraculous survival and the immense courage of his saviors, I can truly see how he has lived under God’s protection. We are incredibly fortunate that George will be coming to Gainesville on Sunday, July 26, to share his powerful story with Chabad of Hall County and the wider County community. Our May Kitchen of Kindness with Chabad of Hall County was a beautiful whirlwind of energy, flavor, and community spirit!

A massive thank you to the awesome volunteers who chopped, stirred, measured, fried, and baked with so much love. Because of your hard work and dedication, fresh, delicious, home-cooked meals are making their way to neighbors right here in our area.

🔥 What a spectacular celebration! Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for an absolutely beautiful Hall County Jewish Community BBQ - In Honor of Lag Baomer! It was a night of great food, warmth, and togetherness.
A huge, heartfelt shoutout to the people who made it all happen: All the sponsers that made it possible, Gary for manning the grill 🍔Micky for building the most incredible bonfire 🪵Everyone who pitched in to serve, set up, and clean up—we couldn't do it without you!
Most of all, thank you to each and every one of you for bringing your spirit, Jewish pride, and unity. It was a truly memorable evening celebrating together.

Kitchen of Kindness April with Chabad of Hall County. We were back in the kitchen, Thank G-d, on Sunday with the most amazing and dedicated volunteers. High-quality, fresh, home-cooked food was delivered to 16 people in our area. Thank you to the amazing volunteers and sponsors who made this possible!
