Here is an Illustration from the Purpose Driven Church book by Rick Warren that I believe is so important for our present age. “…The Chinese bamboo tree can grow to be a staggering 90’ tall!” That is and amazing fact by itself but when you realize that the bamboo sprout remains dormant and unseen for several years and then according to the World Book Encyclopedia a bamboo sprout can grow 3 feet in a 24 hr period. What does this say to those of us who are laboring in the vineyard of His Kingdom. Don’t grow weary in well doing! Keep watering and cultivating, Jesus is working it out.
