🚨🚨The Church must stop making excuses for sin and refusing to hold people accountable.🚨🚨
Yes, we all fall short. Yes, none of us are perfect. But God’s grace was never intended to become permission to continue living in sin without repentance.
The Bible asks, “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid.” (Romans 6:1–2)
There are many gifted and anointed gospel singers, preachers, and leaders, but gifting should never replace godly character. Anointing does not exempt anyone from accountability. Those who publicly represent Christ should also be willing to publicly pursue holiness, repentance, and integrity.
The Church has become too comfortable celebrating people’s gifts while ignoring the areas where they need healing and deliverance. True love doesn’t excuse sin it lovingly confronts it so that restoration can take place.
We don’t need more platforms for unrepentant behavior. We need more repentance, more discipleship, more accountability, and more deliverance. God’s grace is powerful enough not only to forgive us but also to transform us.
Holiness still matters. Repentance still matters. Accountability still matters. The Church should never lower God’s standard to protect a person’s reputation. We are called to represent Christ faithfully, not just impress people with our gifts.‼️‼️‼️
