We are excited to announce that this year’s Heritage Festival will be the weekend of Atkins High School’s Homecoming! We also plan to celebrate America’s 250th birthday as well as the city of Atkin’s 150th birthday!

📍Where: Church of the Assumption, Atkins

⏰ Time: Kicks off at 10:30 AM and we will have activities all day ending with a Rodeo and Fireworks

People for a Better Atkins is excited to announce the Atkins 150 Parade, taking place during the 2026 Heritage Festival!

Route will be as follows:
TBD ➡ HWY 64 ➡ Rd before Catholic Church ➡ City Hall ➡ 2nd St ➡ HWY 105 ➡ Nursing home ➡ Practice field

St. Stephen Church in Bentonville will have First Class Relics on display on Saturday, August 1st from 1:00 PM - 7:30 PM and on Sunday, August 2nd from 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM. Relics include items from Padre Pio (hair, scab fragment, blood stained bandage, and glove) and a piece of fabric from the Virgin Mary. There will also be a presentation from the director of the National Center for Padre Pio.
