What a beautiful afternoon at the Fancy Tea at Starrett Memorial United Methodist Church ☕🌸👒

The room was filled with laughter, friendship, fancy hats, delicious tea sandwiches, scones, sweet treats, and wonderful fellowship. Thank you to everyone who attended, decorated tables, prepared food, served tea, and helped make the day so special.

Events like this are such a wonderful reminder that church is not only a place to worship together, but a place to build community, create memories, and share joy together. 💛

We are so grateful for everyone who made this lovely afternoon possible!

What a beautiful night at youth group tonight. 🌻

We explored the parable of the sower from Matthew 13 and talked together about seeds of faith, growth, and the different ways God works in our hearts and lives. Each youth planted sunflower seeds to take home in earth friendly biodegradable containers as a reminder that even small seeds can grow into something beautiful with care, patience, and light.

We enjoyed dirt cups with gummy worms, ginger snap cookies, lots of laughter, and even more meaningful conversation. Though it was a small group tonight, the faith, honesty, and connection shared was powerful. Sometimes the smallest gatherings leave the biggest impact.

We ended the evening with their favorite tradition, a spirited game of hide and seek throughout the church halls. There is something holy about hearing joy, laughter, and life filling the church building.

“So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.” 1 Corinthians 3:7

Thankful for these youth and the seeds God is planting in them. 💛

This is a community youth group where everyone belongs. A place to laugh, connect, be yourself, ask questions, and know there’s a seat waiting for you.
