Change of plans! Due to current weather conditions, we’ll be adjusting our service schedule for tomorrow February, 1.

Here is what you need to know:

When: Sunday, February 1
Service Times: 2:00pm and 4:00pm (no morning services)
Location: Atlanta Highway ONLY (no services at Beechwood)

*All family environments will be available

If you normally attend services at our Beechwood location, we’d love for you to join us at Atlanta Hwy for one of the afternoon services. We can’t wait to celebrate together!

Due to weather conditions and for everyone’s safety, we have made the decision to CANCEL our in-person Sunday morning services for January 25.

While we won’t be together, we’d still love for you to experience church from home through an online worship service you can watch as early as 6:00AM on Sunday:

Some seasons of parenting are full of laughter, fun, and joy- you feel like you’re thriving. And then there are seasons that stretch longer, where everything feels heavy, exhausting, and messy. Maybe you’re not enjoying this phase. Maybe you’re just surviving it.
But hear this: how “good” or “loving” you are as a parent is not defined by how easy or enjoyable this season is. It’s not based on your ability to smile in every moment or feel fulfilled by every task, it’s found in your love, your presence, and your persistence. You are still a good parent when you’re overwhelmed. You are still a good parent when you’re depleted and unsure.
Parenting was never meant to be measured by how good you feel all the time—it’s about showing up, loving steadily, and holding on through the changing seasons. Some are warm and full of bloom. Others feel like winter. But goodness remains, and the Lord will carry you through every season.

Just a quick heads-up—Waumba Land will be taking a break on Memorial Day weekend at both our Atlanta Highway and Beechwood locations. This time off gives our incredible volunteers a well-deserved opportunity to rest, travel, and enjoy time with their families.

So go ahead—sleep in, grab lunch with your crew, and we’ll look forward to seeing you back on Sunday, June 1, for Promotion Sunday in Waumba Land!

Yesterday was a great day! We learned that God takes care of us and celebrated all of the wonderful women who take care of us. We also celebrated the mothers who volunteer their time and energy in Waumba Land every week. Thanks to ALL the amazing women who shape us each and every day.

Ask your child these questions to keep the learning going at home:
