Milledge Avenue Baptist church is a community of believers that have made our home near Five Points in Athens. We are a big enough church to offer a wide variety of youth and education programs, yet a small enough church to know everyone on Sunday mornings. We are a wide and diverse mix of ages and occupations, yet we form a church family on Sundays and other times throughout the week. We are a Ba

We are excited to offer a book study led by Don Mosley, friend of MABC and author of Faith Beyond Borders: Doing Justice in a Dangerous World. Beginning this Sunday (8/16), the group will meet at 10:00am for four weeks.

Don will generously be giving books to those who would like to participate. The class will be held in Room 220 in the Education Wing.

Join us this Sunday, May 31, at 11:00 a.m. at Milledge Avenue Baptist Church, 1690 S. Milledge Ave., Athens, GA, as we welcome special guest speaker Don Mosley of Jubilee Partners.

Don Mosley is a longtime Christian activist, peace leader, and co-founder of Jubilee Partners, a northeast Georgia refugee ministry that has welcomed thousands of refugees from around the world for nearly 50 years. During his years at Koinonia Partners, Don also helped found Habitat for Humanity.

For decades, Don has worked for peace and justice through refugee ministry, international peace missions, and Christian community life. His life and witness offer a powerful story of faith in action and God’s love at work in a troubled world.

We invite you to join us for this meaningful morning of worship and inspiration.
