🌍 Training Pastors, Transforming Communities — Nicaragua 2025
Over 80% of rural pastors around the world have little or no access to Bible or pastoral training. Yet these faithful men and women are shepherding churches, leading communities, and sharing the gospel in some of the most remote areas on earth.
That’s why the Nica Team, in partnership with the Salt and Light Association of Nicaragua, is working to bridge that gap. Four times a year, we gather indigenous pastors and church leaders from the East Coast of Nicaragua for a week-long Bible Institute — a time of learning, encouragement, and practical ministry.
Last week, under the leadership of Rev. Guadelupe Gómez, pastors came together in Alamikamba to study God’s Word. Each morning, they opened their Bibles and notebooks, diving deep into Scripture. Each afternoon, they went out into nearby towns and villages — sharing Christ, visiting families, and discipling new believers.
📖 The lessons they carried — “The Old Testament Story,” “How to Teach the Bible,” and “God Is Our Protector” — are equipping them to strengthen their churches and reach their communities with the hope of Jesus.
🚤 The journey isn’t easy. Many travel hours by river to attend. But their commitment and joy are unmistakable — faces lit with faith, hands raised in worship, and hearts eager to serve.
We believe the local church is the hope of the world, and that trained, godly leaders are the foundation of that hope.
When you partner with Nica Team, you help expand the reach of the gospel among the Miskito and Mayangna people of Honduras and Nicaragua.
You are part of this story — one life, one church, one community at a time. ❤️
🙏 Thank you for sending, equipping, and believing with us.
