The Gathering Place Church was founded on this conviction: People matter to God; therefore they matter to us. God bridged the unfathomable chasm between His holiness and our sin-stained humanity through the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. Luke 19:10 tells us, “The Son of Man [Jesus] came to seek and to save the lost.” We humbly recognize that we are among those Christ seeks and sa

ves. Jesus went beyond a mere rescue mission; He transformed lives. In Matthew 6:10, He taught His followers to pray, “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Jesus came to redeem this broken world, both for all eternity and in the here-and-now. Simply stated:The Gathering Place Church is dedicated to the vision that we will serve Jesus by “compassionately introducing Him and His love to hungry and hurting people here and all around the world.” That’s it. That’s all we’re about. In order to realize our vision we have a simple Mission Statement that serves as the DNA for every ministry, outreach and small group of our church. Our Mission for God’s glory is grounded in the Great Commission and boils down to 3 little words Go…Grow…Give:

Go bring people to Jesus for membership in His Family…
Grow them up for ministry in the church…
Give them back into the world that they may continue reaching others…

We look upon our mission as a looping process with the end product being healthy and joyful Christians reproducing other healthy Christians and churches. We will not be afraid to fulfill our mission by trying new stuff to see if it works and move on to something else if it fails. After all, embracing change with audacious faith-filled risk taking is one of our Core Values. However, while programs and strategies may change, our mission and message will remain the same. That’s a commitment we made to the Lord and to the people to whom we seek to minister.

🎉 A Decade of Grace. A Future of Glory. 🎉

Today we celebrate 10 incredible years of ministry at The Gathering Place Worship Center! What a journey it has been—marked by God’s faithfulness, His sustaining grace, and His unfailing love.

“Indeed, everything is for your benefit, so that as grace extends to more and more people, it may cause thanksgiving to increase to the glory of God. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.”
— 2 Corinthians 4:15-16

Through every season, God has kept us. He has strengthened us. He has grown us. And today, we stand not just celebrating survival—but boldly preparing for expansion!

We are grateful for every prayer, every seed sown, every life touched, and every soul transformed along the way. This is more than a milestone—it’s a testimony.

As we reflect on a decade of grace, we step forward in faith toward a future full of glory, purpose, and greater impact for the Kingdom.
