My apologies but we are going to cancel for tomorrow, February 1. Going to have to have a Homecoming service on February 8 since it’s been so long dives we met together.

Be safe and stay warm. If you need anything don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Will let me relive my adolescent years of driving in this “sinful” mess. Be glad to help anyway we can.

Quick update on dad:

He moved this week from the ICU to the fifth floor to a rehab center. There are still signs of issues with his heart which he will be going through tests material this month to determine what course of action, if any, can be taken.

He seems to be retaining fluid. When he speaks his words are a bit slurred. He struggles to use his left hand and arm. My guess is some of this is from the surgery on his brain.

Appreciate all who have messaged and called. Praying the Lord either takes him quick (he is getting very frustrated) or better so he can get back to serving. Win-win either way. Just hate the waiting period where one doesn’t know which way things will go.

Of course Jesus could come tomorrow which would be really cool too.

Update: Dad’s brain was under a lot of pressure. So much pressure that it shot out and surprised the doctor. The next 48 hours are critical. So far no sign of stroke. It will be a balancing act as the treatments for the heart and the brain are polar opposites. May be at hospital for 7-11 days.

Prayer is for a quick resolution.

Just took dad to surgery. He’s in a win win scenario. To depart is glory and a promotion. To stay is more time with loved ones. Can’t lose with Jesus.
