The Northwestern Baptist Association No 1, cordially invites you to our Annual Tate-Jackson Education Day—a prominent event focused on cultivating donations for our association's Scholarship Fund. Tate-Jackson Education Day is more than a program—it is a ministry of empowerment. Through this initiative, we provide financial assistance to deserving students within our churches that are pursuing higher education. Many of these young men and women face financial challenges, yet they possess tremendous promise and potential. Our collective support helps remove barriers and opens doors of opportunity.

This year’s Education Day will be held on Sunday, March 29th at 3:00 PM at First African Baptist Church, 107 Tyler Street, Monroe, GA 30655, where Dr. Edwin L. Beckles serves as Pastor. The requested attire includes collegiate or university, Greek fraternity/sorority and or Afro-centric apparel.

We respectfully ask each pastor and member church to support this annual initiative by:

•Sowing a seed of $200.00 designated for the Scholarship Fund.

•Encouraging previous scholarship recipients to consider supporting future generations through their financial contributions.

•Promoting Tate-Jackson Education Day within your congregation and district.

•Identifying and supporting eligible students within your church family.

Your financial gift ensures that our association continues its rich history of providing financial assistance to deserving students and blessing generations to come. When we sow into education, we invest in future pastors, educators, leaders, and servants who will strengthen both the Church and our communities for generations to come.

Thank you for your continued leadership, partnership, and commitment to uplifting our youth. Let us come together in unity and make this year’s Tate-Jackson Education Day a powerful and impactful success.

Continuing to support investing in better futures,
Rev. L. Dante Smith, MDiv
Moderator

Greetings members and supporters, I am writing to you today in my capacity as Moderator of the Northwestern Baptist Association No. 1 to express my heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support of our pastors and churches.

Over half a century we have been proud to award $150,000 in scholarships, directly enriching the lives of our college students, provide financial aid to our member churches and pastors during the pandemic, and donate funds in support of various community, civic, and religious efforts.

Today, I cordially invite you to make a transformative impact through your contribution to the Capital Fund Drive. Your generous gift will enable us to expand our outreach in education, scholarships, leadership development, and community empowerment. This initiative is a critical effort to secure vital funds that will ensure the continued success and growth of the Association's mission and service.

Your generosity is the catalyst that fuels opportunity, changes lives, and builds a lasting legacy. I extend my sincerest gratitude for making this impact possible.

Each church, pastor, individual, and auxiliary has been asked to make a pledge of $500.00. I am delighted to report that 3 churches, 10 individuals, and 1 Association auxiliary have made a commitment to the campaign.

Today, I extend this appeal to our pastors, churches, Association Auxiliaries, and individuals in the same spirit that was conveyed both publicly and in writing at the association's annual session, executive board, and adjourned session. I express my gratitude to those who have made a commitment, fulfilled their commitment, and are prayerfully considering a commitment to this effort.

Your Giving Tuesday Gift truly matters, and your action today will fortify our legacy for generations to come. Please consider making your contribution now and help us continue our mission to inspire, educate, and elevate.

Yours in His service,
Rev. L. Dante Smith
