🌈 Three days down, one to go at Emerald Crossing VBS! 💚

What a wonderful week it has been filled with smiles, songs, fun, food, and most importantly, Jesus! We have been blessed to serve and interact with children from our church and throughout our community as we learn together about God's love through Psalm 23.

We are thankful for every child, family, and volunteer who has been part of this special week. We can't wait for one more exciting night of VBS! 🍀✨

Are you just standing on the sidelines with your spiritual armor, or are you actually IN THE FIGHT?

This powerful message on Ephesians 6:10-24 reminds us that knowing about the armor of God means NOTHING if we don't use it. We're not fighting flesh and blood—we're battling schemes, lies, and spiritual darkness. But here's the truth: Jesus already won. We get to fight for a team that's already victorious!

The belt of truth. The breastplate of righteousness. The shield of faith. The sword of the Spirit. You have everything you need—but are you bold enough to step onto the battlefield? Too many of us have all the head knowledge and do nothing with it.

Stop being a passive Christian. Stop making excuses. Your family, your coworkers, your friends—they're watching. Be the example they need to see. Put on your armor and GO.

Sunday was such a special day at The Church at River Mills!

We celebrated a new baby on the way, worshiped together, and were reminded of the blessing of being part of a church family. We were thankful for our guest preacher, Zeke Carwile, and the opportunity to grow in our walk with the Lord through the teaching of His Word.

We are grateful for the love, fellowship, and faithfulness God continues to show as He grows us together. If you're looking for a church family, we'd love for you to join us this Sunday!

God has established a divine order in our homes that reflects His glory. Children, obey your parents in the Lord - this is right and comes with a promise of blessing. Parents, don't provoke your children, but raise them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

This isn't about rules for the sake of rules. It's about submission to Christ-ordained authority that mirrors the obedient Son who became a suffering servant. Jesus left heaven's glory to obey the Father perfectly, serving us to the point of death on the cross. He now reigns as our Master, calling us to walk in this new life.

Whether you're a child learning obedience, a parent raising the next generation, or an employee working as unto the Lord - your submission to godly authority is ultimately submission to Christ Himself. Are you living in the order God designed? The promise is clear: honor brings blessing, and obedience reflects the heart of our Savior.
