New Pastor
On November 4, 2018 Ash Baptist called a new pastor, Ryan Smith. Ryan graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in December of 2018 with a Master’s of Divinity from the School of Theology. Previously, he served as youth minister at First Baptist Church of Kemp, Texas for six years. Originally a native of Louisiana, Ryan moved to Texas when he was 13. He and his wife Kim met each other that year in the eighth grade. They have been married since 2002 and have three children. Ryan has a passion for sharing the truth of God’s Word and reaching the lost. He teaches the Scriptures using an expository style of preaching.
Ash is a kind and welcoming faith family that loves to have visitors! Our faith family is praying that God adds new members to the family, not simply additional numbers to our services. We believe that the Bible, 66 books, is the inerrant, infallible, inspired, and authoritative Word of God. We provide Bible study opportunities for men, women, and children on Sunday mornings at 9:45 through Sunday School, as well as Wednesday evenings at 6pm. Our worship services are Sundays at 11am and 6pm.
