We are a Scripture-Driven, Christ-Exalting, Gospel-Advancing, Neighbor-Loving Community of Faith. Christ is the eternal Son of God.

In His incarnation as Jesus Christ, He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. …He honored the divine law by His personal obedience, and in His death on the cross, He made provision for the redemption of men from sin

October has been a bittersweet month for LABC as we have had to say farewell in this life to some of our sweet family. Be in prayer for the Barons, Billings and McDaniel Families as they mourn the passing of their loved ones.

Remember this bit of hope from 2 Corinthians 4 "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." That eternal unseen hope for these three dear saints has been made sight and we praise the Lord for it.

Our thanks to several of the men who came out for some much needed work at the church last weekend. New lights in the gym and cleared out gutters make for a building that is happy for the change in seasons.
