Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the words of Jesus in John 15:13: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we never forget the cost of freedom and the courage of those who served with honor. We pray for the families who carry both pride and loss, and we ask God to continue to bless and comfort them.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” — Matthew 5:9

Happy Memorial Day from our church family to yours. 🇺🇸
