As many of us begin yet another back to school transition, we are reminded of our mothers’ love for us. Packing up and heading back to college can feel like a goodbye to our childhood, our hometown, and the warmth and comfort of our mothers’ homes.

While your dad may remind you not to forget to call your mom while away at college, we must also not forget to call upon Mary as our Heavenly Mother to wrap us in Her mantle - counseling, protecting, and nurturing us in the unique way a mother does.

We are so excited to extend this invitation to any and all women who desire to grow closer to the Lord this Lent.

FIAT40 is a 40-day Lenten retreat for Catholic College Women that provides both challenges and spiritual tools that have one ultimate goal in mind: to bring you closer to Christ.

Lent is a season of emptying, of entering into the desert with Christ. However, when we empty ourselves we make room for Him to enter into our hearts, and make space for the Holy Spirit to move.

Mother Mary, help us through your obedience to follow Christ into the desert so we may soon more fully rejoice in the Resurrection.
